I understand that John Forgerty is going to be on Letterman tonight. I hope he plays a Rickenbacker.

Thanks, Peter. Times like this I wish I had a TV. Guess I'll have to wait for it to pop up on U-tube. Ditto on hoping to see him wearing a Rick.

Well, if I think about it I wouldn't be surprised to see Les Pauls in favored status with a majority of performers for a season or two, given the recent event of his passing. But we'll still keep our eyes peeled for our long time favorite guitars wherever they might be appearing.
Gosh, when is Fogerty gonna start to show his age? He looks and sounds fabulous!

I recently saw a concert on TV with John Fogerty. He switched between a Les Paul and a Telecaster (and a few other guitars), but no Ricks.

According to the guys on the Musicman forum he played a John Petrucci model and the bass was an SR4, it happens sometimes .....
