Here's one I took myself. Some words are in order. A friend produced the posters and standees for the upcoming Sendak movie "Where the Wild Things Are". She made some cutouts from a poster so that kids could put their faces into the holes for photos, and mounted the pieces she cut out onto sticks for a laugh.

I saw the pieces and my first thought was, "How did she get those pictures of Juliana?" But--they weren't of Juliana; they were of an actress in the Sendak film.

So we got Juliana to pose with two of them. The resemblance is so uncanny that it looks like mirrors, except that they're not mirror images, nor are they Photoshopped.

Wow! did I post that shot in the wrong place...

But I guess we needed at least ONE wonderful/funny combination shot...

The woman with the most piercings on her face was in Edinburgh a few months back.God knows how she gets through customs.

OK, I'm game...

For those who don't believe we had help from space aliens in WWII... We now know that the story of the pot at the end of the rainbow is true... only it's not full of gold... A bit of the awesome beauty of our world... And the awesome power...

Oh, I dunno ... the Ouija board one is pretty cool, and the fluffy white one ...

I couldn't find the epic eagle sword-guitar I saw this week anymore... still, the rifle-guitar's worthy to be remembered as well?

For some reason, I'm guessing one of those would cause quite a stir if you tried to take it on an airplane...
