Maybe you should reconsider that Markbass amp!

Unfortunately, tube and inexpensive don't generally go too well together, especially when it comes to bass amps. There are plenty of reasonably priced guitar tube amps, but those are not not very powerful, enough for guitar, but not so for bass. Maybe that is why the world is full of great sounding solidstate bass amps at fair prices.

Why does it have to be a tube amp? If I were looking at a tube amp for gigging I would check this out.

I probably have to start putting my nickles and dimes together for a Markbass head.

That Reeves is probably a tremendous amp but what I'm looking for is something to use while my SVT sits at home waiting for it's big break . At home, the SVT plays through my GK 210T and sounds terrific, even at low volumes.

Wow, the Reeves resembles a HiWatt 200. Have you had the opportunity to try one out, Jeffery?

That Reeves head looks like a really nice one, but not exactly inexpensive.

Dave Reeves make his amps to be the best Hiwatt clones available, I think they may be better then the current Hiwatt amps. +, they are made in Ohio!

I have never tried one but they are all the rage over at TalkBass.

Marc, I have a feeling (a feeling deep inside) the Reeves can put the SVT to shame, even at only 225 watts.
