I remember as kid....while one brother was a 60's hippie type, Janis Joplin lovin nut, my oldest brother was in love with her! I spent MANY years of my life hearing her music as he practiced his French. Fast forward, my son listened to some of those LP's to help with his French lessons as well.

He was all happy and buzzin when he went on a European trip with school and when they went to France....EVERYONE said, "No, NO...IN ENGLISH. I want to practice my ENGLISH".

Thanks! Yes it is a 1983 Squier JV Model SST-30. I guess that is the cheapest VJ model.That is why it has the "budget" tuners.Still I like it and think it is a cool guitar.
