I am going to Savannah GA in the near future and I noticed that Fred Gretsch Ent. is headquartered there. Does anyone know if they do any manufacturing or have a museum there?
Just curious & I can't find any info on their website.

Re: Question about Gretsch
The guitars are not built in Georgia. It's probably just the corporate HQ.captsandwich wrote:I am going to Savannah GA in the near future and I noticed that Fred Gretsch Ent. is headquartered there. Does anyone know if they do any manufacturing or have a museum there?

Re: Question about Gretsch
As far as I've seen, there's a storefront there which has been selling onesies and twosies of odd Gretsch models...maybe Fred lives in town?
Re: Question about Gretsch
There will be a museum but i don't when it will open.
I know Fred bought most of Randy Bachman's Gretsch collection, 300 odd guitars!
Paul's right though, there is a shop selling odd stuff from before Fender took control of the manufacturing.
It's apparently very cool!
As for the prices........
