Isn't 10/10/10 coming up next year, followed by 11/11/11 and 12/12/12?

After that, it will indeed be a long wait until 01/01/3001 -- 988 years, give or take a few weeks.

What Kris meant (and the Yahoo article states) is it's the last "single digit" date ... although 09 is technically two digits, right?

IMO calendar dates are completely subjective anyway, and really do not have the significance some try to instill in them. :D

Yeah, and it's kind of ridiculous anyways------is 2009 not a complete 4-digit number? Do 2000 of those digits not count for some reason?

There was a true 09/09/09, once upon a time (exactly 2K years ago!).

....seems like just another pondering for all the space cases out there.....meh.

Hex, binary, octal, pretty much all the same for me...

Now, I suppose we should really do this in base 9 then we'd have 10/10/2672
