Now that I've got my 330/6 FG, it's all I want to play (my poor Telecaster is sitting there forlorn!) However, there are a couple of surfy tunes I'd love to have a vibrato to play with. Is there any point in fitting my 330 with an Accent vibrato (assuming I can even find one), or am I better off putting a Bigsby on my Tele, or finding some other solution?
Recommendations? Experiences? Horror stories?

Put an Accent on your 330 and a Bgigsby on your Telecaster! For your Accent VB, I advise removing the rubber bumpers from the underside of the Accent spring and replacing them with some stick on round, grey felt bumpers available at any hardware store. As for the Bigsby, here's a handy dandy instructional video!

Go for the accent....it's a great vibrato, and easy to install.

Nah, you want a Mosrite with Moseley/Vibramute vibrato for that stuff...
On one of my rare serious notes: I fitted an Accent to my 330 (all kudos to JDog, the seller of said piece) and it's great. Travel and pitch change is more comparable to a Jag or JM (i.e. subtle), than a Bigsby, Strat or Moseley, and obviously not in the Floyd-Rose ballpark at all.
The Accent is very easy to fit, and I for one prefer it over the R tailpiece when it comes to changing strings. As mentioned, finding one will be a challenge.

Accents are great. For super surf tone, I use a '65 Mustang strung with .011 D'add chromes.

Those Mosrite pickups are too fat and snarly to shatter glass. Ventures sound, they do a treat, though.
You need a Jag with vintage wound pickups, an outboard Fender tube reverb, and a vintage Dual Showman.
And earplugs.

I always use Big Bends Nut Sauce to lube the nut and bridge saddles. I've used a lot of other products, and I feel this works the best. I use the Accent all the time, and it stays in tune remarkably well....
