I bought it from a private collector/seller in Britain---I'm in the USA----so you'd have to factor in the exchange rate between the US dollar and the British Pound. On top of THAT....it's Left-handed.

I don't know what the current rate for Lefties is.......I paid a little over 4k. The MOST I've spent so far...for ANY of the basses I own. I currently own 5 Lefty Rickenbacker basses.
