72 years old, leukemia.

This is sad news. My wife and I went and saw Peter, Paul & Mary two years ago, as we had never seen them live. I'm glad we did it. She will be missed greatly.

Jeez.... Too many artists from my youth are dying off.... RIP

I saw her many years ago in concert in Emporia, KS.

Wow! Is it just me or have we been losing a lot of great artists from this era over the past few years? Such sad news. She was a great singer.

I am so very sorry to hear this. I played and sang so very many Peter, Paul and Mary songs. She came from a much gentler time but Mary and the group really surprised me with "I Dig Rock and Roll Music" when it was released. I hope she will always live by the sea and frolic in the autumn mist. Fare thee well, Mary. RIP.

Well said Peter. I was going to say Puff the Magic Dragon was my first and still my favorite.

Truly a sad day losing her. She was one of a kind.

Their music and memory will be rememberd and preserved forever.
