A scratch that Scratch X and Zymol won't take out

Any thing we can do here?
The bass is on Ebay, and it has another similar deep scratch. If I can get them out, it's pretty much perfect.

Can't tell from the photo. But looks like it could be through the finish. Photo is out of focus and taken without macro. Both are important for a correct diagnosis, or I'll have to call Dr. House...

90% chance you're right, Kris. But the out of focus situation can confuse things. It's possible for a scratch in a thicker clearcoat finish (like Fender's polyester finishes) to show up light-colored, but in fact only go into the clearcoat. A good clear extreme closeup photo or inspection of the actual instrument with a loupe, will show the true situation. If it's only into the clearcoat, and not through the color, a quick fill with cyanoacrylate and then a sand and buff will restore the surface. I don't use CA, though, on Rick conversion varnish finishes as it sands unevenly due to its hardness.

Magnum I with deep scratch on front and back, with some finish checking near the neck pocket.
This sold before, but it's relisted. Trying to get some feedback from the seller before i dive in.
