How many Mid Blue 325's were made?

I have a really cool midnight blue 325v63. I always loved the look of a 325, but love it even more when it's not jetglo or mapleglo. Does anyone know how many Ric made? The fellow who sold it to be said it was a "one off" for a Ric employee....

There are many more stories of "one offs for (pick the recipient)" than were actually made. Although John Hall never has said this to me personally, he is on record as stating that "employee-built" instruments are non-existent, and I would think that instruments built especially for employees would seem to be in the same category.

Still, a MID 325V59 (if a factory finish)is very rare and would be quite lovely!

Paul, mine is actually a 325v63 which I prefer. I like the Accent vs. a Bigsby. It is a beauty for sure.

Melibee's got one. I put a picture of it on the RRF guitar coffee mug, although it's been photoshopped...

They've made a few MID 325v63s, but not many. One was on eBay a few months ago, and here's another:

I'm not sure I'm reading this correctly, so apologies in advance if so, but I recall a few posts with examples of instruments ordered by employees (who paid for them) that have special colors or features...

I'm only aware of a few "unauthorized" ones. 8)

Apparently, with the 325's, there was also this.
