With al the Mojo it now has I agree. But a refinish of just the fretboard would make it inconsistent i.m.h.o.. Luckily this is not needed yet as my luthier did a good job at levelling the frets. It is not perfect, but it is very playable now. (When I bought it you could hear very well it had only been played at frets 3,5,7 etc...)

I had just the fingerboard re-fretted and refinished on my #1, my '89 red 330. I'd recommend that. Preserve the mojo!
