Went to the "Recording The Beatles" presentation last night

sponsored by the NARAS Memphis chapter.
The two authors had a slide show and audio presentation that was incredible. The amount of research that went into this book is insane.
I'm gonna try to sell some stuff on ebay so I can get it when it becomes available again....100 dollars is steep but it is worth it.

Yes I went in a heartbeat and pre-ordered a copy when the book was first announced. Love the whole package! As a music producer/engineer and Beatles lover, the book was fascinating, to say the least. It was $100 well spent!
There's one on eBay now. BIN $375. Very steep price!

The authors said it would be available again soon.
They also previewd another book about a day during the SGT. PEPPER seesion....killer photos

I have this book. I found the early sections a bit dry, but when they start talking about individual songs I think it is quite interesting. I would love to go to their presenation. Maybe someday they will come to the Dallas area.
