I just got it today, and by golly, is it awesome!
I really hear so much Beatles in their music anyway, but this DVD just blew me away.
Tom Petersson gives a credit to Rickenbacker in his "basses" section, and there it is, a Jetglo 4003 sitting on a stand, but alas, he plays the whole show on a cream Gibson Thunderbird. And what a lovely tone it is! And Robin Zander still has one of the best voices in rock, period.

Basically, they do Sgt. Pepper front to back, and then the Abbey Road medley. And it was great to hear / see because it was one of my favorite bands playing the music of ANOTHER of my favorite bands, and obviously there was a lot of love and personal joy for them to do it or they wouldn't have learned it all so well. I HIGHLY recommend this DVD.
Cheers, Mates. Good one.

It's always been a dream of mine, to play in a band that preforms sgt pepper, and magicial mystry tour (some of it) as an act. Maybe someday I will have to opertunity to do that. Sigh..

Do it.
We're working on our own Sgt. Pepper show.

I had a feeling Ronn might have some perspective on playing Sgt. Pepper's!

Haha, and, we already do the Abbey Road "medley", which is the encore of the CT Sgt.Pepper CD/DVD.
I need to find a lefty T-Bird!! ;) I've always loved Tom's tone on their first album, that bass intro to "Speak Now..." was a major eye-opener when I was young.

I couldn't agree more about Tom's playing and sound on the first album. After Macca, he was the most influential person on my playing. I even had a Hamer B12S like Tom's first one for a while, as well as a T-Bird, but when you're short the T-bird makes you look like a kid with daddy's guitar!
'Speak Now'... my god, that is the way heavy rock is supposed to be played and sung. The entire first album is in my top ten of all time. I'll be looking for this dvd. If you don't have 'Music For Hangovers' and like CT at all then GET IT.
