Hi
I need some electronics and setup help with my 78 4001. Whoever owned it before me had done a pretty major hack job to the pot and pickup wiring and I'd like it checked-out (there's a loose wire so definitely somethings wrong).
Anyone able to recommend a superior Ric bass tech in Central London? (that's England !).
Cheers

Welcome to the forum, Markus! I hope you find a great tech that knows and loves to work on Ricks.

Martin Petersen at the Bass Gallery (or just the Gallery) in Camden is my luthier of choice. He's done work on a couple of my Rics. He also builds Sei basses.

If you are looking for the rest of the posts in this thread, look for a new thread called Crack The Sky in The Others section.

No need to apologize, Greg! I remember and enjoyed
Crack The Sky back in the early 80's. That part of the thread just seems more "Others" appropriate.
