Who Am I #22
Who Am I #22
Life, as with music, often requires one to let go of the melody and listen to the rhythm

Yes, Brian, it's Angie.
I've been a big fan of hers since the late '70s, when I heard her signature tune, "This Time I'll Be Sweeter". The lady has an amazing set of pipes and is an outstanding talent. A certain far more successful, but less sane, singer named Whitney Houston, copped Angie's sound and style, despite Whitney's weaker delivery, and had major successes with inferior material, IMO.
Angie, was born in NYC but has made her home in Sonoma County for some time now. She has, sadly, suffered two strokes and was hospitalized in Santa Rosa. She made a partial recovery from the first, in 2006, when she was hit by a second. She continues a strong recovery from the second and, though she may never tour again, she does plan a recording comeback.
Here's wishing long life to Angie!
You're up next, Bri..

Yes what a great voice she has Paul and I hope she remains healthy enough to continue to demonstrate her gift to the world.
I have sent the next one to Peter.
