ok so I just used this bad boy on the gig last night. But I have to admit the controls had me a bit confused. Can anyone give me an overview of what they are
SUPPOSED to do? I don't know if the wireings been jimmied!

BTW it sounded amazing thru my Blackstar Artisan 30

The selector switch function depends on how the p/ups are wired. 3-way selector switch should go 1. (down) bridge pup, 2.(middle position) all 3 pups, and 3. (up) top two pups, neck and mid. Treble V and T knobs should control bridge pup, Bass V and T control neck and mid pups. Blend knob (the small one on bottom) puts out more bass counter-clockwise, more treble clockwise, depending on the pickup selection.
But that's assuming it's all wired up stock inside, which is perhaps a big assumption. If you post a photo of the innards, you will surely get some opinions on the wiring.

The other thing is that lil' knob is just an ungrounded volume for the Neck/Middle pups.
Since the pot does not short the signal to ground, it only bleeds off about half of the output.
When the selector is in the middle position(all three pu's), the effect is to blend the output of the
Neck/Mid, with the Bridge pup. If the in line .0047 "strangle" cap is still in the treble pup's circuit,
the blend is very effective in creating the classic Rick tone.
Of course that is iff(as Ron says) you guitar is still all stock.
Pretty guitar BTW

I bought that guitar because I though it was one of the best FG I'd seen. Plus the wood has some really great figure.

What a D lightful guitar...
An early example of the usual 67 FG, with, I'm betting, a late 66 serial #...
