Swooping down to a dingy little dive in downtown Salty on friday and sat: Uncle Barts.
Good acoustics and (usually) appreciative audiences.

2 nights playing, and each night was quite different from the other:
Fri night, the partons were there to get looped and relax after a day's work.No one sat up close, most stayed back by thr bar or played pool.Table tappers and head shakers.Light cheers and some applause after some tunes. No dancers, but that's OK as there really is no dance floor.
Sat night, more patrons, sitting up closer, and an annoying but non-hostile drunk up whistling and whooping right in our faces/spaces.
Then there was the old fat drunk couple who thought to get up and try to dance, but ended up tripping over mike stand and floor pedals.(That seems to happen nearly every time we play there).Basically harmless folk just putting on the lamp shade. The bouncer kept moving them back and finally 86'd them when they spilled more of their drinks that they got to swill. Now a bit of (relative) peace as the sets progressed.Just a normal night @ Uncle Bart's.

Well at least it doesn't sound like the kind of place where they have chicken wire in front of the stage.
