Rewind options for vintage 4001 pups

Hi all, I'm new to the forum and new to Rickenbackers--although a longtime admirer. I've picked up a 1977 4001 with two major issues: the finish has been stripped and both pickups are dead. The good news is, that's all the bad news. Structurally the bass is in great shape. My question: what are my best options for rewinds of the pickups? TV Jones isn't doing rewinds anymore; there's always Fralin but the wait can be long.

Thanks, Paul. I don't see that name on the members list. What's the best way to contact him?

Sergio did my 1977 4001 pickup rewind. Highly recommended.

Chris (roomtemp), welcome to the Forum!
Just PM Sérgio (you can use the PM icon in his post above) and he'll get your pickups back to top-notch form.

PM sent. Thanks, all. I'll post some pix of the bass soon to get opinions on what to do to the body.
