Hi from a first-time Rick owner

Hi,
I bought my first Rickenbacker yesterday, a left-handed 360 Mapleglo, made last year. Until now I've played Fenders so there's a learning curve here but I'm enjoying it. It sure is a beautiful guitar and comfy too!
First impressions:
It's light and very well-balanced both when sitting and standing.
There are a lot of tones available by twiddling the knobs.
Flatwound strings feel quite a bit different!
When I play the "Day Tripper" riff it sounds "just like the record" (I know, it wasn't a 360 on the record but...)
The only adjustment I felt I needed to make was to raise the bass pickup's low-E polepiece about a turn and a half. Anyway so far I'm loving it and looking forward to gigging with it next month. I can post pics if anyone's interested.
P.

Peter, that's sweet! Congratulations and warm welcome. In what year was your new 360 built, I'm curious?

Welcome to the RRF, Peter !
That is a very nice looking Maple Glo -- good looking wood-grain patterns.
I hope you enjoy your Ric and participating in this Forum !

Great score, Peter. And welcome to the RRF. I've been a Rick owner for just a little over six months, and the shine still hasn't worn off yet, along with a goofy grin every time I mention the name Rickenbacker.

Great looking MG - Congratulations!
Question: Are the "R" tailpieces on lefty guitars always upside-down?
Thanks, Bob

Yep. The tooling is all for righties. But it's right-side up if you're looking down at it while you're playing it!

Welcome Peter!
Now just stay away from confluences,12 strings and solid bodies and you won't want another Rick (NOT!)

Yeah that "R" is the only concession to rightiness... I'm OK with it.

Thanks for all the welcomes!
