A modified 330

Hello !
Fellow forum member Jerry Juden encouraged me to post some pics here from my modified 330. I put a third PU in the middle. As I didn't want to change the classic stock two PU wiring at all, which I think is just great, I added another knob to activate *only* the HB1 by a push pull with volume. The tone control is done by the neck tone control. I changed to Schaller M6 mini lockers, with the black tops they correspond fine with the jetglo. Golden B5. Pickguards and TRC painting were done by Pickguardian.
Enjoy.

Wow! That's just a strikingly beautiful 330. Great job. 8)

How's it sound, and what amp(s) are you playing it through?

Currently I run it through a Blues Junior and I'm really happy with both.

Make that 36!

Very interesting take, Alex! 8) The tort lower pickguard is similar to a guitar PW did back in '06.

Very nice, I like that alot!! Well done. I've been wanting a Jetglo 330!! Thanks for taking my level of RAS up a few notches, Alex!!
That's the first Rick I've ever seen that I really like the look of a tortoise shell pick guard.

I love it! The gold hw is really cool!

Another cool Rick with the two-color PG treatment (which I'm personally a big fan of):

Back to Alex's guitar -- tres cool! Did you have the bridge gold plated? That tortoise lower 'guard is just the right touch against the JG finish accented by the gold trim.

I would imagine that the metal knobs and the Bigsby add a bit of heft to the guitar, no?!

It's so . . . Heavy!
