One 9 too many in that price.

If you could get it for $90.00 and use it in a Who tribute band and totally shock the audience when "The Quiet One" suddenly smashes his fireglo "Rick" on the stage it would be worth it.

Nine Hundred dollars for that? :mrgreen:

Werner, actually both of them you link are real Rickenbackers. I'll let the experts chime in with more detail, as I am just a bass man.

I don't know all the details, but you might want to ask over in the "Vintage Rickenbacker" department. The early stamped metal TRCs date probably back from the 50's into the early '60s, maybe. The Electro TRC is a Rickenbacker budget model, possibly a student model? A lot of that stuff is shown in the Smith book. Again, I don't know the details on guitars, and am much better on the basses.
