Please note that this event has NOT yet been officially sanctioned either by Rickenbacker or Casale Bauer. While the request has indeed been received and both parties are looking favorable to granting it, it is customary and prudent to get the correct permissions in advance before announcing an event.

Certainly no permission is required from us or our distributors to hold such a meeting, but to use the terms "sanctioned", "sponsored", "official", or to use logos is a different matter altogether.

I have been in contact with the distributor already and hope to work it out favorably but there are still agreements to be made before that happens.

Just posted as a courtesy so all parties are all on the same page, whether that be organizers, sponsors, or attendees . . .

Thank you for your clarifying post, Mr.Hall, and welcome to the Italian Chapter.

Please note that the event is intended to be simply a confluence between musicians playing your instruments.

Musicians, guitars and basses, a nice place where to meet, some music played by the attendees, talks, wine, food, some pictures and clips that might appear on the web to celebrate the event once it is over.

The appropriate RRF section dedicated to the confluences is full of similar happenings that have been held in the last years in the USA and other countries.

There is no intention to turn it into any business in favour of any entity, manufacturer, operator, producer, company, that might attend the event.

The contact with the distributor was established by the organizer to avoid any issue with RIC.
However, I am sure the organizer is willing to promptly rectify the details and any other info mentioned in the event and in the related ad, according to your instructions and request if the conditions indicated up to now represent an infringement of your copyright, logo, name, company policy, etc.

The mention of RIC and Casale Bauer in the ad, once the contact was established, had the only scope to guarantee a honest promotion (gather as many attendees as possible) to an event that, due to the limited presence of RIC instrument in the Italian market, would otherwise have scarce chances to have any significant success.

If you need to receive any further info, please let us know.

Thank you again.
