Yeah. If you look at his other items in his store, he has special scratch remover for various other brands too. I'm sure it's specially formulated for each exact brand of guitar finish too...

Oh, great. Some numnutz is encouraging people to use microfiber cloths and HIS scratch remover on JG finishes.

I could not find an MSDS on the stuff. I'll stick with Scratch-X and Zymol, thank you.

Oh come on, silicone is great! Well, at least, I've seen some that looked pretty darned good anyway...

Also, the company isn't "Rickebacker Guitar Company" ... the yahoo seller should at least find out the right name. Some people ...

Some people is right...

Lately, I've run into a spate of low-quality sellers on the bay who are just out to score a buck here and there from the unwary.

One who really stands out as a manipulative profiteer is known by the highly creative eBay name, "gibson-dependable" which is I suppose his version of "fender-reliable", who was there first. And, no, they're not the same person. I won't go into detail about my experiences with this schmohawk. I mention his moniker as a word to the wise. Avoid him.

Back to the polish...I wonder if he's got a formula specially made for my 1957 Fenton-Weil?

Well, it's gotten much worse in the last year or so. Now everybody can experience what anyone in the mail-order business in pre-internet days, experienced--the semi-literacy of great numbers of English-speakers. Many eBay listings simply are patience-trying; others make me wonder what school systems are using our tax dollars for.

End of rant.

Well, this won't be a popular answer but around here it is for teacher retirement funding and health care insurance. Biggest expenditures.

The bigger answer is that schools want to move students through and teach to tests, rather than encourage an exploratory, curiosity- and satisfaction-driven model..

this is why i'm so thankful to have experience a studio-based education through my MArch.

the greater educational system could be vastly improved through incorporating some elements of a design education pedagogy.
