Love the facials on "I'm Yours". The kid has a future.

Undeniably cute.....but sadly disturbing too.

You can't tell me that these kids honestly wanted to sing/play these songs, and the parents did little to push them into it?

Whats wrong with parents pushing their kids into something? Sure, it can be taken to to extremes (and that is NOT good), but those kids looks like they're having fun. It's the parents JOB to introduce/push/encourage/nudge/cajole, dont you think?

Definitely, and I must say the last two kids were way older than the first two, and probably more capable of speaking their mind if they didn't want to do it. The "Hey Jude" kid didn't even seen like he wanted to be doing it (plus the song choice...?)

There's a 7-year-old kid drumming here in Denver now who is unbelievable...he's the son of one of the best jazz pianists in the country, Vlad Girshevich, who's originally from Uzbekistan...

Hey Collin, do you have kids? I could understand your thoughts on the subject. My boys have been playing since they were infants, I never asked them to they just saw me doing it and wanted to do it too.

Little Billy started playing the drums when he was 4 THen he moved to Guitar, Bass, and Piano. all on his own accord. Now I AM EXTREMELY Proud but I don't push him to do it at all...

Then he went to guitar and the Baby (Aidan) took over the drums when he was Two!

Then a little bit later Billy and his friends wanted a band so I taught his two budies how to play Bass and drums. This is them 1 1/2 yrs ago

My nephew is that age and starting a band.... as the "official adviser" to the band's manager (my brother) I'll have significant input. Right now all he has is a Squire Strat and a little 15 watt practice amp. He needs a bigger amp to start with, but not too big. I'm figuring a good basic (non modeling) 30 watt solid state amp would be best (dont want him to have to mess with tubes).

Any suggestions?

Get him a Fender Blues Jr... Great Amp! Yeah its tubes but they're not an issue.. Little Billy's been beatin the hell out of his for 2 yrs and it still sounds great.. Its what you hear in the videos.

All 15 watt amps were not created equal, eh?

Very cool though, your kids look stoked to be playing, and I'm well impressed (heck, I can't wait to hear them as teenagers!).

The kids in the first video looked "under duress" to me, but your kids look quite happy. Rock on.
