Has anyone had any experience (good or bad) with http://www.pickofthericks.com OR http://www.the-music-connection.com

Or do you have any other recommendations in Canada or USA?

Either place will serve you well. Many of us in the forum know Chris Clayton at Pick Of The Ricks, and he is great to deal with.

Speaking of Ricky parts, I've heard it through the grapevine that the Ric Factory is all out of 12-saddle bridges. Ed Roman Guitars in Las Vegas and Pick of the Ricks in Lindenwold, NJ both supposedly carry 12-saddle bridges. But I've heard that some of these bridges are counterfeit. How do I know I'm getting the real thing?

It's only counterfeit if Roman is claiming they are real Rickenbacker parts (which I don't think he is).

Not standing up for the guy at all......but if it's a 12 saddle bridge and works, then what's the big deal? The rickenbacker bridge design isn't held by Rickenbacker, as other manufacturers like Allparts make a similar bridge, so I don't think there are any IP law issues.
