here's the zon promo i have with jim samson playing a mapleglo 4001 with popular badarse bridge mod. the album insert has him playing a black p-bass but i knew i had some pics of his rick in my junk drawer. this is from 1978. will have jps see if he can resize it for me soon.

jim samson was always gigging around toronto with various bands as a utility bass player with drummer kim hunt, kind of like john wetton used to do in the mid '70's. samson and hunt played with klaatu, tony springer band (which was a hendrix tribute band) maybe even lee arron band etc.
