Hey guys,

It's as cold as you-know-what here in Texas. I was going to take my 330 and 360 to my cousin's house for a little jam session this weekend. If I warm up the car before I load the guitars will I have any issues? Any tips?

I'm sure I wish it was as nice and warm here as it is in Texas, it's 32 below right now.

Anyway, if your guitars are in their cases, you shouldn't have a problem. The case will provide enough insulation that the guitars won't change temperature too fast. Now, if you leave them sitting in a cold car for a couple of hours and then bring them into a warm house, that's another story...

If you are going to warm up the car before bringing them along, you shouldn't have much of problem. To be safe. let them sit in there cases for a while. Have something to eat first or do some other activity when you get to your cousin's house and let the guitars acclimate to the house temperature during that time.

The dead air space in the case will keep the guitars from getting cold for several hours. Unless you're a masochist and refuse to use the heater in your car, your guitars will be just fine.
