ELECTRIC 12-STRING GUITAR NIGHTMARE: Bring your electric 12-string and join the nightmare!
Deke had a nightmare about what an orchestra of electric 12-string guitars would sound like. So, he figured, why not? Bring your electric 12-string and join the band. Don't worry, the nightmare will only last for one song, the classic "Mr. Tambourine Man" by the Byrds (in the key of D, for those who want to join in). There will be an official guitar tuner, not that it will make this any less of a tuning nightmare.

Evidently he doesn't own a Rick 12 string.

I'm certain an orchestra of BANJOS would be far worse. A twelve string orchestra sounds, well, heavenly!

Oh....I dunno about a banjo orchestra....Maybe an orchestra of accordions might be real bad...

Wouldn't that be the one and only Kenny Howes on the one and only Rickenbacker on stage?

That's Kenny. Ooh, Vox teardrop alert as well; my two favorite 12 strings-Rickenbacker, and hollowbody Vox Teardop-in red.
Graham and I were supposed to go to that, but after walking around NAMM all day, having dinner, and a couple of pints chased with a scotch, another scotch sounded really good, and we missed the show.

Indeed that's our own Kenny Howes. And what a surprise that he's got the only Rick 12er. And that's kind of disappointing, actually.

That was me, and I was the only Ric 12 there.

Your Rickenbacker was the ONLY twelve string there. Antigua weirdo Fenders don't count. Guess we can give an honorable mention to the Vox (I've had one of those... ), but come on, there was only one twelve string in that orchestra.
Attractive woman with bouzouki-appointed guitar gets a nod too.

Another member Billy D.Light was in the back there too!
Attractive woman with bouzouki-appointed guitar is Amy Gore.
Here's the words ;
Hey Electric 12 String Band,
Please play in tune for me
I’m not drinking but
The sound right now might drive me to…
Hey Electric 12-string band
The song’s in the key of D
There are three chords but
Learning this song you…didn’t do.
Last night I had a dream to play
The 12 string on the stage
Instead I got enraged
Like a bird trapped in a cage
Guys, you’re on the wrong page
I tried to disengage
And so, I tried some jingle janglin’….
All these guys showed up
And turned the dream to something bad
I know that I’ve been had
The sound it makes me sad
Someone right behind me I’ll be stranglin’…
Hey Electric 12-string band
Please play in tune for me
Concentrate, and this one song we can save…
Hey Electric 12-string band
Please play in tune for me
One things for sure Leadbelly’s turning over in his grave.

They should have allowed you to solo, thereby letting the other 16 players know what a 12-string is suppose to sound like.

My friend Jukebox John Hayman was there, too and was buried way in the back. He's the one who told me there was only one Rick on the entire stage so when I saw the video I knew immediately it was Kenny. I can't imagine that many 12's getting together and there being only one Rick?!

Excellent. Way to represent, Kenny!
