After last months gig at Glasgow supporting http://phantomlimbmusic.com/ Phantom limb(What a band if you dig deeper you will see Yolanda Quartey`s credentials) we were also on the bill with this great band who filled the room with energy that id not seen in a long time.Bigbang has been described as "Norway's best live band", with their Radio Radio TV Sleep holding the honor of being the best selling live album ever to be released in their home country. After our performance i got to have a quick chat with Øystein Greni about his Rickenbacker guitars.In the set he used a old 360WB 12 and a 360 both in FG.When i asked why he used Rickenbackers he retorted Cause they sound great.Simple and i liked that.We sound checked before the band as they were on after us and Øystein Greni was very helpful in accommodating everyones needs on the night.Just wanted to put across if you guys ever get the chance to see a great live band here is one that you shouldn't let go under the radar.I sincerely hope to meet the guys again and wish them all my very best wishes.
