Home made perhaps? If so it appears to be by someone with at least a certain amount of skills necessary to build such a project.

Or else a butchered 320/325.

The pickups are positioned strangely or misaligned.

I was kind of thinking that.

I was kind of thinking that.
But the inlays would go against that idea unless they were added with the CB. It seems a pity to go to all that trouble and not have the pickups line up.

But if they took a Rick and cut the horns off of it, isn't that shame enough?

It has to be a butchered 620:
Deluxe style neck with binding, poured triangle inlays
No Soundhole, so not a deluxe 300 series
bound front edge.
The pickups all appear to me to be equally slanted at the same angle, purposefully.
Somebody call Collin; he's currently repairing a 400 series guitar that was similarly mistreated.

If it was a 620 wouldn't it have a 5th knob, and would a 620 have chequered binding?
And the jack input looks to be on the scratch plate. Very odd.
Could it be a combination of a couple of different Rics?
A FrankenRickenVox!

Whatever it is, it's a mess.
May be a 600 body, but the neck isn't from one because it has 24 frets.
Appears to be a hodgepodge.

That photo has been floating around for years now...believe it or not, I think it's half of a 362/12.

That would be a real shame.

It must have taken some real effort to put the pickups in the wrong place. The middle one I could understand being a bit off, if it was added later, but how on earth do you explain the location of the bridge pickup?

I think the bridge pickup was unscrewed and not secured in the sharper photos I saw some years ago.

600-series guitars don't have the tailpiece 'ramp.'
