BACK PAGES plays their 1st gig of the year....

Hello, I just wanted to note that Fort Worth's BACK PAGES band played their 1st gig of 2010 last night at Central Market "Outside" in Southlake. All went well and we had an outstanding crowd for a Friday night in January! The weather cooperated and we had a temp of 74F at the start with a drop to high 60's by the time we quit at 9pm. The local police even came and told us to turn it down! (grumpy neighbors) We had fun and will continue again tonight (Jan 23rd) with a private wedding reception at a posh hotel in downtown Ft. Worth. Things are looking up as the new year begins. Byrds, Beatles, Petty and REM are our main tunes we cover with an emphasis on the Byrds catalog. It is very gratifyng to hear from so many people who still love to hear this music. Thanks for supporting us in this endeavor. We'll be appearing at Keller TX's Up In Smoke BBQ joint next weekend (Jan. 29th). Mike in Mansfield, TX
