Each micropore will form a tiny soundhole, enhancing the volume of your instrument - especially on solid body guitars. Who knows what sort of lovely tones are being trapped inside the wood?
.....and if you believe that, I have a bridge to sell you. No wait....I already sold it....to a guy in Michigan....I'll look around and see what else I have that I want to get rid of.

I don't know much about the website that ran the piece...but I'm suspicious. The site has scientific pretenses, but the entirely positive, puff-piece tone of the article brings to mind the "cold fusion" scam of a couple of decades or more ago.
Anyway, it's too thin to do any good if we're looking for that hard-candy gloss...
