I just realized that I don't have any Rickenbacker's on order. WOW! That's a strange feeling.

Actually, I haven't ordered any new Ricks since 2006.

I've got a Stingray on order. ETA: three months.

Same here. After the 38 month wait when I ordered the last one, it's doubtful I'd ever order another one.

A Rick dealer who shall remain nameless recently told me that a new COY would mean new sales of 150 guitars and/or basses for his dealership. Lots of would love to add to our collections, but the backlog is still going strong....Rickenbackers are guitars that have an avid fan base whose members frequently have several instruments, and because there hasn't been anything new for a few years, the devoted fans of the brand have been left wanting (and waiting).

Maybe next year!

Don't know if it'll be any time soon. While Ric has ramped up production - it's probably not up to boom+COY numbers. With all the new bands playing Rics and an uptick in general popularity, I wouldn't expect COY or new models any time soon.

One can hope, though...

As for new models, I think I have everything I want. Holy ****! I never thought I'd say that. Of course, like all of you I have used models I would like to get. Some Limited Editions are on my list but those may be a while.

You're a step ahead of me - I don't even own a Rickenbacker right now and am not sure if I'll get another. That relationship just hasn't worked out...

Nothing on order as such here, but I do have something in transit. The wait is still agonising!
