I've added some bass to an old track I did in an old band. This is with just the toaster on my modded 4000. I've never really liked just the toaster, but I kinda like this one.

has a very fred turner bto not fragile album kinda tone. would like to hear it without "THAT VERY LOUD GUITAR" that was far in the background  next time you're in the studio, do what i do. start talking to the engineer about sound gear and then move to the soundboard still talking to him eye to eye, then sorta sit on the edge of the board and kinda nudge the bass fader up with your right butt cheek (has to be the right one  ) then, when he politely asks you to remove your skid mark off the console...the secret operation has been fulfilled and no one is the wiser!

yeah, we're invisible, but at least we're inaudible, too.

Actually, the original mixes sounded great - the mastering screwed it all up. We were too young to fight the fight.... So now I have my puny revenge with my Mac.
