Rickenbacker Valentine

Long story short:
I've had GAS for a couple of months. You know how it is - there's no rhyme or reason to it. It just has a season of it's own. There's no good time to do a ridiculous thing.
I discussed the options with my son, who had his own opinions. We probably need a Telecaster, because we could use that unique sound to add to our collection, and there are several Teles to choose from, but in the end we decided on another Ric. (We have two already.)
We ordered it Friday night, from Chris at Pick of the Ricks. When it arrives, that will be a separate post. Anyway, when we announced our decision, my wife, who knew we were debating a Fender, said "I'm glad you got a Ric."
My Valentine card today said "I'm thrilled to welcome our 3rd Ric home."
I think she meant it.
I got one thing right. (Make that two.)
Tom.
