4003: unknown signature series?

Someone in the Rickenbacker workshop signed his (or her) name underneath my bridge pickup. Neat! I wonder who it was. The S/N indicates the bass was built in the first week of Jan 2010.

There have always been signatures of RIC factory workers in the control cavities of the guitars.

Yeah, I thought it looked like 'Helen'. Either that or "Helv', as in short for 'Helvetica'?

I wonder if they do that for inspection reasons as the guitar goes down the line.
