In my eyes, this is the nicest looking of them all. One day i will hopefully have one of these babies!

But i wonder what the differences are from a standard 360. I mean, aside the looks?
It seems also these v64 are hard to find, and expensive... Anyone know the reason for this?

The standard 360/12 has a 24-fret neck, Hi-Gain pickups, (post 2005) a cut headstock, (pre-2008) short inlays, "R" tailpiece, single bound toilet seat (stole this from you, Paul A!) body, standard truss-rod cover (with raised letters)

The 360/12V64 has a 21-fret neck, (pre-1999) hot 12k toaster pickups, vintage-style headstock, poured inlays, trapeze tailpiece, double-bound body and plexiglass truss-rod cover.

The newer 360/12C63 also has a 21-fret neck, trapeze tailpiece and double-bound body, but the 7.5k toaster pickups, headstock, plexiglass truss-rod cover and (post 2008) inlays cut from a newer material are unique to this guitar making it a faithful recreation of George Harrison's original 1963 360/12OS.

There are a few members here who have owned, played or even smelled one of each model, and I'm sure those members will help you out :)

Sounds like a must have! I have a 360/6 that i am very pleased with, so i would like a 360/12 too. I think the 12v64 is stunning, and 21-frets is not a problem to me at all.

So the 360/12C63 is basically a newer version of 360/12V64?

Here's one of several threads that discusses the differences between the two models.

I had the 360/12V64 from 1999 to about 2005. I bought from our own Bob Belloff. Eventually I traded it in on a brand new 660/12 just because I'm able to play the wider neck easier. It WAS a GREAT guitar though!

I hear some have trouble fitting their fingers on some models, specially on the 12. Those thinner necks actually fits me very well, i have small hands. Not that typcal "Swede" you would imagine :D
