I picked up the Beatles Stereo Box Set on eBay last week, it was new and sealed but looked a shabby and sloppily put together, the books were in the sleeves upside down and the packaging just looked cheap compared to my expectations. Thankfully the music sounded fine so I didn't think to much about it. Today I received an email from a third party informing me that 99.9% of the Beatles box sets on eBay are counterfeit. I checked it out and sure enough mine are fakes. I called ebay and they suggested that I send it back and ask for a refund. If the seller doesn't comply, they will reimburse me.
...So beware crooks selling pirated music on eBay, IF you get caught, you MIGHT have to take the product back and resell it to someone else!

How did you finally determine it was a fake? Now that I just picked up a Mono set...
