Former Beatle denies tabloid reports that his next world tour will be his last
Tabloid reports last week (July 31) stated that the former Beatle was on the verge of announcing details of what would be his last tour, which would apparently see him call at unusual venues including China's Tiananmen Square and Berlin's Checkpoint Charlie.

In all fairness I did put a wink. he's flip flopping... he's a flip flopper!

from what I read it looks like he is/has been playing sort of special venues citi field, the bowl, fenway, their talking about wrigley now too. maybe this is it, so far as a tour is concerned. (probably not when you consider the eagles, cher, cream, the stones, etc....but... whatever)

it sounds crazy that he hadn't been there in so long.... George Michael Ouch!

I saw The Who at their "Farewell Tour" in 1983.

All I'd seen was the tabloid headline..... I actually DID think he was retiring.
