I see that a couple people here have installed a
Tonestyler in their Ricks.
So, what do you all think? For those who've installed one, where in the circuit did you put it? For those who haven't, and would like to, where
would you install it? Just curious.

I'll answer my own question, in case anyone's interested in how I'm doing this.
I installed a ToneStyler in a 650, converting to a VVT configuration with master volume, in the process. I love the tonal variations!
But now I'm going to change it. I'll do away with the master volume, and replace one tone pot with a push-pull that switches between a standard tone circuit and the ToneStyler. Either way, it'll be a master tone circuit, but it will provide the option of pre-setting the ToneStyler, and switching it in and out as needed.
This thing is pretty cool! It provides a number of different attenuation curves that don't suck out the mids as the treble is rolled off (and a few that do.) Setting #1 is true bypass, and would allow a standard tone circuit to be used in conjunction, with no additional coloration. It doesn't mess with the original tone of the instrument, unless you want it to.
There's an outboard model, as well, for those who'd rather not mess with their instruments.
