Preparation for an Accent

I am going to be adding an Accent to my 360v64.
Is there anything in particular that I should do: should I get the bridge smoothed somehow? Should I change the nut?
I noticed that this nut really grabs the strings when I do behing-the-nut string bending, does this mean I should get some sort of oil? or graphite?
Any ideas welcome
Or tales of Accent conversion

Get some small adhesive felt pads and replace the rubber "feet" on the Accent - the rubber can cause discoloration of the finish.

My new 1997 came with a standard tailpiece, so I purchased a RIC Vibrato for it soon afterwards. Before installing it, I used contact cement to glue a strip of felt to the spring. I cut a wide strip of felt about the length of the vibrato spring so there wouldn't be any metal to Fireglo contact, should I ever wish to go back to the original tailpiece. We did the same on my brother's 320. Works like a charm!

Great ideas folks.
I am waiting to finalize some stuff . . . I have these gold guards but they don't seem to fit (Aaargh!!) -I guess v64 guards are slightly different than the regular 21-fret 360 guards.
When I manage to figure out how to get some that do fit, and, after these pretty great strings wear down a bit I'm gonna plop some felt and add an Accent
