A good quality guitar to play or…it doesn’t matter really…?

In this small article I tried to share my personal experience and passion for guitars in 25 years of playing, and it’s a cool topic (imo)
The idea of this four possibilities and their resultant outcomes attracted my mind….
1) Good guitar player, playing a good guitar.
2) Good guitar player, playing a bad guitar.
3) Bad guitar player, playing a good guitar.
4) Bad guitar player, playing a bad guitar.
Most of the players I asked went for option 1 (as ideal)
and much less of them went for option 2 as a barely acceptable situation, and on options 3 and 4 they told me very hilarious stories about etc….
I am interested in your opinion also
because I learned a lot from other different players, and actually from guitar players of any styles and levels, even electric or acoustic ones shared with me very interesting ideas & anecdotes concerning this topic.
