So, the toasters from the late 80's to ???? were 12K? When did RIC start using the scatterwounds with the 7.6 K average and which guitars do they grace?

Ok ..........so 2007?. I am entertaining the idea of a new Ric 12 and would like a similar sound to my mid 60's 360/12.collin wrote:They switched when they came out with the 325c58 (so, a few years back).
They grace all models with toasters these days.
ps....they are still different than old vintage (60's) toasters.
Not so, my dear boy. The first guitars to have the 7.4k scatterwounds were the 425v63's and the 325/12's in '99...supposedly.collin wrote:They switched when they came out with the 325c58 (so, a few years back).
