Transonic alert

A store near my house has what looks to be a near flawless Transonic (head and cab) for sale. Store owner say all original and functional. Says he was offered 8500, wants 10 grand. Didn't have time to stick around, but if on looks alone, I'd say very sweet. They also have an '81 4003, yellowed w/black trim, all orig., $1495.

bet he was offered $8.5k for it...
That'd be like, what...three times the average Transonic price..?

They should just put a sign on it that says "Not For Sale - Display Only."
