MVP Gretsch? The guy who bolted hundreds of dollars worth of gold Gretsch hardware on dreadful hacked-up bodies with crooked frets and pickups that didn't align with anything?

Weeeellllll----He's BAAAACCCK! Turned up on the Gretsch-Talk Forum under a new name, and posted this:

I hope he's aware of the toxicity of cocobolo...but what a waste of gorgeous wood.

The guys on Gretsch-Talk are mostly confused. It's the same reaction he had on Gretschpages, initially...

Yeah - I remember Richman guitars. I was thinking about him the other day, when I was still getting over the flu and puking...

A smurf headstock? He should've painted it white and the rest of the "thing" blue... if this forum had a barf smilie I'd use it here - this thing is beyond ugly!

Wow! Reminds me of work we did in wood shop back in middle school. We didn't have all the appointments on our projects like this 'piece of work', but in the end the results were the same as his, a carved up piece of wood in the guise of, "Guess what this is?"

From Wikipedia:
"Because of the wood's great beauty and high value, the trees yielding this wood have been heavily exploited: they are rare outside of national parks, reserves and plantations. Only relatively small amounts of this prized wood reach the world market and it is expensive."

Well, that kind of makes me hope he doesn't know about its toxicity...then there's this:

"Some cocobolo has a specific gravity of over 1.0, and will sink in water."

Ah...so there's hope...
