the left lower pic by amy willard looks similar to the front cover building on rush's "moving pictures " album. close but no cigar. better shot with the film crew in the street, inside cd cover.

My pessimism is showing ... would it be possible for the photographer to be using something akin to a "green screen" technique to get such a precise fit of the small picture?

It would be trivially easy to do it with Photoshop, plus that would explain the uniform focus of objects in such a wide field. Nevertheless, the optimist in me likes to believe the photos are the work of very dedicated (and neurotic) perfectionists.
