Aye, the old jetglo 330 was there, but if you closed your eyes you wouldn't know it.
It was a good performance from Weller, but the use of the Ric from a sound perspective, was pointless.
Craddock was using so many effects that he could have used any guitar and got the same results.
And the tambourine? I applaud it's use, but even after all these years, Weller looks completely uncomfortable singing without a guitar.
And I would say that the tambourine itself was the equivalent of the Rickenbacker 620, a GIRLS tambourine!

My daughter's tambourine is more butch than the one Weller was using Good to see the 330JG & I liked how it sounded. Weller was a bit flat on "no tears to cry"

Just been reading through all the posts about Weller. Yes, Rickenbacker should release a Paul Weller model, perhaps the WHAM Rickenbacker with a certificate signed by Paul!
I have an old obscure magazine from 1981 called Music UK. It has a few pages on Paul's Rickenbackers. I have scanned a photo but hane not been able to attach it here. I will keep trying! K

It won't allow me to add an attachment. Shame, as the article is very interesting and the photos show all of Paul's Rick's (he has loads). I e mailed Rickenbrother asking if I needed permission (as you do on some forums) to upload photos or if I was doing something wrong. Let's see what he has to say, if not you can alwats e mail via here or http://www.keithsmart.com and I can send them to you. Be good to share them with other Rick fans
