Hi! I wanted to know is my Rickenbacker bass is original or just a copy of original?

It's not a Rickenbacker for sure.

Everything about this bass shouts copy, but I must say that I have never seen a copy anything like that one....

Almost looks like someone took the neck out of an Alembic and turned it into a Rickenfaker: But why?

I'm going to move this one into the BASS section..NOT because of the faker content, but I think we'll get a lot more input over there....

Yeah, even the truss-rod cover is a poor facsimile. Sorry to disappoint you, but not a single element of that bass is from a Rickenbacker.

lado guitars from toronto and aria also has those style laminations. nice volute at the headstock for added strength.

Yeah this is realy strange and old version.
Maby someone want to buy this bass? I just need money for new bass.

The workmanship on the neck looks quite good. The pickups and hardware are another kettle of fish entirely....

rickenbrother No, I exchanged otger guitar for this bass, year ago. Then I didnt got very much knowladges about guitars and music so I was thinking that I was playing on real Rickenbacker bass haha.
