Everything about this bass shouts copy, but I must say that I have never seen a copy anything like that one....

Yeah, even the truss-rod cover is a poor facsimile. Sorry to disappoint you, but not a single element of that bass is from a Rickenbacker.

lado guitars from toronto and aria also has those style laminations. nice volute at the headstock for added strength.

Yeah this is realy strange and old version.

Looks like a one-off done by an independent luthier to me. I've never seen one like it.

The workmanship on the neck looks quite good. The pickups and hardware are another kettle of fish entirely....

rickenbrother No, I exchanged otger guitar for this bass, year ago. Then I didnt got very much knowladges about guitars and music so I was thinking that I was playing on real Rickenbacker bass haha.
