There's a guitar in Peoria, Illinois that I'd like to score. The seller won't ship...pick-up only.

If you are gonna play the thing the vibrato has got to go. Mine refused to hold tuning no matter what I did until I dumped it. It's great now!

Do those stop tailpeices all have holes for the strings?

Yep, it is the same exact tailpiece used on the non-trem versions. One size fits all.

Hey John, the old time Mets & Cubs logos on our avatars makes me think back to the days when both
teams were in the Eastern Division. It was a GREAT rivalry! I really miss it.
Anyway...hope your Mets lose tonight!

I grew up in Peoria ... the seller's name sounds a bit like the name of a music store there (Don's Music).

Cool! I went to that store many times back when I was in junior college (early 1970s). Don's a really nice guy, as I remember. I actually got to play at the store a Höfner Silver Beatle Bass anniversary edition back then ... I don't think I have ever seen one of those for sale anywhere.
